This video is a taster of the Ecosystem Restoration Camps exciting new course* - a solution-focused showcase of restoration techniques that are being implemented around the world by amazing people, from India to Guatemala and Australia to Scotland, oceans to forests and farms to cities.
Oliver starts by redefining some of the basic terms, bringing clarity to words that have lost meaning through overuse. Then, as opposed to focusing on how and why our planet is degraded, lamenting the loss, or pointing the finger, he focuses on where to go from here; moving away from entropy and destruction to a restorative system, with nature-based solutions and a philosophy grounded in permaculture.
